 FYC Toddler Sailing Camp
This exciting camp offers basic sailing skills for kids 3-6 years old.
They will learn parts of the boat (baking sail boat cookies), wind direction (using bubbles) and safety.
Kids will be sailing in the pool, with our experienced instructors. After the sailors feel comfortable in the pool, we will continue sailing in the Pirates Cove.
Please bring your cameras to class and enjoy photos for a lifetime!
This camp is $230.00 per toddler.
It is only offered in the mornings, from 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. Limit 5 sailors per week

 Fun Sailing Program
The Morning or Afternoon Fun Sail Program is design for those new to sailing.
We will teach the basics including the parts of the boat, boat handling, wind and weather, to get you feeling confident in the water. The cost is $230.00 per session.

FYC Sailing Team 2008
The FYC Sailing Team sails each afternoon.
FYC Sailing Team learns the skills needed to become a competitor at the national level. The opportunities to race and compete in many different class boats, (J24’s, Snipes and Thistles) is offered to each member.
This year the teams will be sailing Opties, Lasers and 420’s in ten Thursday Regattas in the Jacksonville Youth Yacht Racing Associaton. We will be traveling to Epping Forest, Lake Usta, Brunswick GA, Rudder Club and Halifax Yacht Club.
This year will be hosting the 4th annual July 4th Regatta. Saturday July 5th and Sunday July 6th. FYC will be hosting The St. Johns River Optie Regatta, July 12th & 13th. We are anticipating over 60 boats in attendance.

 FYC Small Power Boat Course
Learn Safety, Boat Handling, Rules of the Road and much more.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
From 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Earn your Florida State Boaters License.
This course also covers Navigation, Docking and Rescue. The cost is $285.00 for the course. Limit 5 boaters per session.

 FYC Swimming Program
The Florida Yacht Club Swimming Program is starting this year on May 22nd 2008.
From 6 months old and up, kids will learn how to blow bubbles, jump from the side of the pool/diving board and retrieve objects from the step.
They will also learn safety in and around the pool, as well as all the different styles; the front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, and much more.
We will be offering a package of 8 private lessons, one half hour each and your last lesson is free. For $315.00
If you wish to do single lessons, they are $45.00 per half hour.

All applicants most fill out and sign attached forms. Our programs have a limit to the number of kids in each camp. When you sign up your child, he/she is reserving a slot in the camp. Due to the limit availability of our programs, if you sign up for a camp you will be charged for that camp. If you are unable to attend, you may reschedule a camp session at your convenience, but you will not receive a credit to your FYC account.

 Remote Control Sailing
This amazing new program offers beginner kayakers with basic skills they will need on the water.
Campers will learn basic strokes, safety, games and how to fish from a kayak.
This course is $230.00 per kayaker. Limit to 5 campers
