9/11 - BAKE DRIVE LOCAL FIRE & RESCUE DONATIONS

We are looking for volunteers to MAKE and SELL brownies, cupcakes, cakes and baked goods. FYC would like to donate ALL proceeds to our local Fire & Rescue Department to commemorate 9/11. If you would like to be involved and volunteer your baking services or time, please give us a call, the more the merrier so bring a friend!

CHEF’S KIDS COOKING CLASS: AFTER SCHOOL SNACKS

For the 1st time EVER, Chef Stephen will be teaching a kid’s cooking class! Join the Chef as he teaches the class how to make healthy and tasty after school snacks! We can remember the days of getting home from a hard day of school and grabbing a bite to eat (usually a bag of chips). But this Saturday, Chef Stephen will help the children to be more independent and to learn some easy and safe cooking techniques.

This Friday night the Culinary Staff is taking us on a road trip to New Orleans. Wear your dancing shoes to this Rocking Kid’s Club Party! Aaron Frier, our Professional Dance Choreographer, will be teaching us all of the hip moves that we’ve seen on TV! Parents can enjoy a night out in the Pirate’s Den, while the children are dancing their hearts away in the Ballroom. A kid’s friendly dinner, movie and arts and crafts will follow the fun.

1876 GRILLE ~ GRAND OPENING

The 1876 Grille is FYC’s newest amenity for our members. The Grille features USDA Aged Prime Certified Angus Beef with prices that are 30 - 40% less than the national chain’s prime beef steakhouse. We are open every Saturday night from 6:00 – 9:00 pm by reservations only. Dress code is Yacht Club casual: collared shirt for men, no shorts, no open-toe shoes for men and dress denim is accepted. Our standard formal dining room will be in effect on Friday nights when the 1876 Grille is not open. Please check the 1876 Grille’s menu on page 10 of this month’s NewsWaves!
