Wine Club Tasting: Chardonnay

Join us as we learn about and enjoy CHARDONNAY, one of the most widely-planted grape varieties. It covers over 400,000 acres of land worldwide and it has been planted in more wine regions than any other grape! It offers us both Champagne and fine Burgundy. We will compare new world to old world wines. And, since chardonnay is the #1 selling grape varietal in the United States and the most planted grape of California, we’re also going to dive into several California appellations! Come and taste the different Chardonnay styles and learn how they are influenced by the winemakers and the terroir (geography, geology and climate) in which the grapes are grown.

Join us in making Health and Fitness FUN! Kids and families are introduced to an array of tools that teach healthy behaviors and healthy ways to play and stay safe. Summer is a time for kids to get up and get active, but sometimes when school ends so does your child's exposure to activities. The FYC Family Health Fair will inspire the whole family to take advantage of summer and give kids the tools they need to make healthy active choices.

America’s Cup Wine Tasting Dinner

A different format for our wine dinner creating a unique Yacht Club experience combining world class racing, fine wines and sensational foods! All the Yacht Club’s most favorite things in one night! The Napa Valley Vintners are hosting this wonderful wine and food event in association with the 2013 America’s Cup Racing. Sample wines from Bouchaine Vineyards, Mt. Brave Wines, Silverado Vineyards and Sequoia Grove. Chef Stephen Bechan and his culinary team will perfectly pair hearty food selections with each wine station to enjoy in a social format. Highlights of the 34th America’s Cup Racing will also be part of the agenda.
